I may be making a move in a year. I would like to post my resume again, but last time I did, most of the responses were from “work at home” schemes. I would like to avoid this. Any suggestion will help.

Well, first I would ask how you know they’re schemes. I work from home and it’s not a scheme.
Second, anytime you post your email address online, you’re going to get responses you may not have expected. The best way to deal with this is to make an email address at Yahoo or Gmail that is *just* for job offer replies. That way it won’t bother you in your normal email box.
Third, if you decide you do want to try to work at home, make sure you don’t do anything that asks for a credit card or money up front. I learned that the hard way!!
Direct Selling is a legitimate business opportunity, although not for everyone.
If you are posting your resume somewhere, ensure you say something like “I am looking for a job, not a home-based-business”, or “I am not looking for a direct selling opportunity” in otherwords, clarify what you are looking for in your resume.
Hopefully, if you are completely up front with this information about what you are looking for, your wishes will be respected
