I need to stay at home because of my child, but I need to work also. Any good suggestions?

I’m not sure what you are good at but two good choices are this: book keeping for small businesses or transcription. If you are good at sums and figures and think you would like something like that I believe you can do this from home for small local businesses. A lady I know makes 20 bucks an hour doing this. You may need to work part time though at first to get a bit of experience.
Transcription is a great thing you can do at home if you are a great typist and have a nice home computer. Medical or legal transcription might be the way to go. They email you the .wav files and you transcribe them and send them back. I started to do this but right now I work full time and I found I did not have the time right now but it is something I plan for the future. Another lady I work with makes money doing this two days a week, and has more than she can keep up with! I think she gets almost twenty bucks an hour too for medical transcribing.
You really should go to your local community college though and discuss it with a career counsellor. They would be the best source of information.
Cheers!
