I have looked for many months and there is not much you can do with out start up costs. My best reccomendation would be put an add in the paper with your skills under the work wanted section and businesses who need word processing, mailing etc. done may contact you. Best of luck
Think out what things you are good at and would enjoy doing. Can you type more than 30+wpm, could you do cold-calling? Look into your local employment agencies and see what kind of businesses you could get into. Also look at some of the big job websites like Monster.com. You might pull up some at-home things for your area. Most things on the internet “work-at-home” nonsense require start-up costs, so your best bet would be to go directly thru a company that has a physical office location, not something that solely works on the internet.
I also am a stay-at-home mom. I actually had looked for many hours online for something to do along the lines that you are talking about. It all seemed pretty sketchy to me. I ended up joining The Body Shop At Home 2 1/2 years ago. It has proven to be a very great financial decision on my end. I actually go into woman’s homes and pamper them!
