I want to know your experiences for your first couple of months from being at home with your baby (for over a year) to going back to work healthwise, emotions, and at work (did you ever miss work? is your boss understanding?), how well did you adapt. What about your baby?

I was intending to go back to work after the baby was born, but I did not want to leave my child with people whom I could not trust 100% there for I have not been back to work.
How ever my friend has been at work the whole time she has been a single mom to four kids all under the age of 5! The youngest was just born on New Years Day!!
Heathwise~she is fine, kids are always sick, from daycare!
Emotions~She is happy at work, Kids are never happy!
Boss~He is nice, until the kids are sick and she has to miss!
Baby~Not adjusting all that well to be honest!!
I go to the daycare just to check on the kids and I honestly can not stand this place.. The kids are always dirty, bottles in the mouths in a swing, never any inter action!
I guess that might be why I chose to stay home!!
it’s not work from home per se, but there are a bunch of survey opportunities where you can earn money for taking surveys from home. See
I didn’t go back to work. I started working at home instead. Now I make enough to have a full time live in nanny. I never miss a moment of my children’s lives.
