They all need capital to begin with.
Garage sale - but better still, just place adds in the buy sell and trade, or whatever free adds for things in your home - old stuff you no longer need. You have a computer so you could do research - or you could teach people how to use a computer, in your home - advertise on bulletin boards, and on telephone poles in your area - you can also design and print flyer’s for local business starting up, also do phone work, using a reverse directory for business starting up.
First place any things you have not used for six months in the paper for sale, at the same time start advertising for students who want to learn basic computer skills, plan a garage sale - advertise for designing flyer’s for small businesses… after that find out what your clients need done - possibly there are some other things the people you work for can use your talents for.
it is always slow at first, but after six months, work will come to you.
How about real estate? There are lots of opportunities. You could look into saving people from foreclosure. If you know of anyone in a foreclosure situatation you can be the go between for the foreclosure companies and the individual. This is called a short sale. All you need is to get them to answer a few questions and forward the info to the company. The company will usually kick you back a percentage of the money. I am a member of a group called Financial Destination, Inc. and they have a collegue that does this type thing and you can get 10% for referrals once the deal is complete.
There is also real estate auctions, tax leins and things of that nature to get into as well. For these of course you will need the capital, but if you can get a partner with the capital and you are willing to add a little time and elbow grease, you can make it work.
