How do you other bookkeepers get clients and how are you able to work from home with their books?

I need to know the secret to get clients. I have a home office, but everyone wants you to work at their office so they can get you to answer the phones and do some other clerical work.

If I can somehow work from home, I would be so grateful!!!

I would like to work at home with out a large start up cost. Something that includes free tools to succeed with out paying for every tool to make it work.

It has been a problem I have had all my life. It is costing me in my relationships at work and perhaps costing me respect at my job.

I am the worst procrastinator that I know of and I think it may be related.

I have recently started reading some personal development books. Tony Robbins, Og Mandino, Steven Covey. Kenneth Blanchard. Norman vincent Peale. I am just starting to crack the spines on them. They are insightful, and I won’t say that they aren’t doing for what they are intended, but I cannot help but think there are other people out there with the same problem who have received help and conquered this affliction, both the procrastination and the disorganization and clutter in my workspace and home.

I think that if I can conquer the procrastination, the rest will follow suit.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
